Teaching Japanese and Chinese in Groningen and Amsterdam
I offer Japanese and Chinese language lessons in Groningen and Amsterdam for beginners and intermediate learners. Lessons are tailored to the interests and goals of each student. Depending on your focus, classes can emphasise conversation, grammar, reading, writing, or cultural context. Lessons are available in English or Dutch.
Courses are available as private lessons or in small groups. In addition to teaching, I work as a translator between Japanese, English and Dutch.
Teaching background
I am a language teacher and translator specialising in Japanese and Chinese. I teach at the University of Groningen and work as an independent language and culture trainer for adult learners. I also work as a translator of Japanese into Dutch and English. My lessons combine structured language learning with cultural context and practical communication.
